Camp Protégé is a week-long retreat in the breathtaking landscape of Alberta, Canada. This immersive experience facilitates disconnection from the distractions of the outside world so that we can reconnect with ourselves, each other, and our craft. Campers have the unique opportunity to connect personally with mentors both inside and outside of class and build lifelong friendships with their fellow dancers from around the world.
Once you arrive at camp, you are fully immersed in this experience. You’ll be gifted a journal to hold your discoveries, reflections, and memories from the week. We wake up early for morning yoga together before breaking into smaller groups to explore dance, acting, neuromuscular training, meditation, health & nutrition, and composition. We train hard and play hard, taking a break from the structure of the class to enjoy campfires, the high ropes course, and to share stories over meals in the dining hall.
Campers are encouraged to take advantage of this rare opportunity to be surrounded by nature and be present in the process. Composition classes are held outside and artists find nooks throughout the beautiful grounds to create and reflect. We finish our days together with bonding group classes in the Big Barn including an improv jam and the beloved student choreographic showcase.
The gift of time and space to break from the pace of our daily lives allows us to devote ourselves completely to discovery and connection. Holding one another with open hearts, we laugh, we cry, and we grow as artists and humans....together.
When?
August 18th - 24th, 2024
Campers will arrive on August 18th and travel home on August 24th.
Registration will begin at 2:00 pm on August 18thh, 2024.

Who?
Dancers are accepted on a first come first serve basis by audition or invitation only. Dancers ages 14+ are encouraged to audition.

Camp Protégé is held in the breathtaking remote Camp Kindle, 45 minutes NW of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

If traveling from far away, Campers will fly into the Calgary International Airport (YYC)
Tuition
$1725 USD + $50 Administration Fee
Tuition includes 5 full days of intensive training with industry-leading professionals, accommodations, meals, round trip transportation from the Calgary International airport to Camp Kindle (if necessary), camp activities, and a special gift from Stacey!

Tuition does not include flights to or from the Calgary International airport, campers are responsible for securing their own travel arrangements.
​
Camp Protégé Staff will be at the Calgary International airport to meet all campers flying in and will see them off at the end of our time together as well.
​
Local campers will be welcomed on-site by staff between 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on August 18th and can be picked up on August 24th between 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

Cancelation Policy
Cancellations will not be refunded after July 1st, 2023. No exceptions will be made. Invoices are non-transferrable and in USD. Registration is not final until the invoice is paid in full. We will have limited capacity and will fill first come first serve - with fully paid invoices.
